Hotels are being renovated all over town to help compete against the resorts. a place to sleep Myself and a friend stayed there for 3 nights over the july 4th weekend. The location is good not far from mannys or the ocean. The room was definetly nothing special, but it works if you only use it for sleeping. Housekeeping and staff very nice. The atmosphere was fun and pool was nice.

poor rooms and house keeping We stayed three nights and when we first checked in hte room had a odor the shower spalttered water all over the floor, the house keeping was bad, a/c leak water inside the room. I won't take my family there again

a place to sleep Stayed here for a weekend. The room was nothing fancy but comfortable, it is not the beachfront condos but it was clean, pool was great, staff friendly. I would stay there again. The price rocks!!!!

Fabuloso! My youth group and I were there on several occasions and stayed at the Plaza Penasco. If you're looking for a cheap, friendly, pleasant place to stay this is the place. The service was amazing, and the rooms were exactly what they needed to be... a place to sleep. The pool is beautiful and so is the view from the top! Thank you to all the staff who made our visit so pleasant. God bless!

Bad Rooms! We stayed in a room on the secon level that had no heater, no hot water and holes in the ceilings. The floors were very dirty. After we complained they moved us rooms, even then it wasn't that great ( alittle better,but not much. For the amount we payed I'd rather stay in a resort!

Just a Hotel Remember, this is only a hotel. This is not those great ocean front resorts that everyone loves..... Make sure you look through galleries to get a good idea of what you are renting. It does the job but you get what you pay for.
